Our Beginning

In 1966 Lee Groves and his son Kirby opened a branch of L.L. Groves Plumbing - a Wichita Falls Texas based company - on Possum Kingdom Lake.   By 1970 Lee &  Kirby were exclusively located on Possum Kingdom Lake and Groves Plumbing became the main source of service for the fishing cabins on PK Lake.  As the lake expanded and homes were built for weekend guests, Lee & Kirby operated their family business with technicians in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.  In the mid 1980s Lee and Louise moved away from the lake and Groves Mechanical became the name of the long time family business owned by Kirby.  Also during this time Kirby's sons - Kevin & Kerry began working for the company.  In 2006 Kirby and Kathy moved to Kathy's home of Mason and Kevin and Kerry became the managing partners of Groves Mechanical.  In January of 2018 Kevin retired and Kerry Groves is the sole proprietor for Groves Mechanical.  

We remember the early beginnings of our company and the dedication to honest hard work and commitment to be the best at our trade. That is simply who we are.  We understand the life of a PK Lake community member and we know just how important it is for us to be available when you call.  Our office is conveniently located to any point on the East Side of Possum Kingdom Lake and we are open during the summer holidays!
